Minim-Martap Bauxite: Canyon Resources Removed from the ASX 500 Index

Canyon Resources, the Australian company developing the Minim-Martap bauxite project, will be removed from the All Ordinaries, the index of the 500 largest stocks listed on the ASX, before the market opens on September 21, 2026. This decision was announced by S&P Dow Jones Indices on September 4, 2026, almost eighteen months after Canyon's entry into the index, which became effective on March 24, 2025. The All Ordinaries selects stocks based on their average market capitalization over the preceding three months.
