Minimum wage in UK about N4m - Isaac Fayose counters Edo Gov's comparison of fuel price

Isaac Fayose criticized Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo, for comparing fuel prices in the UK and Nigeria. The governor had stated that fuel in London cost about N3,000 per litre after conversion, implying Nigeria's economy was stabilizing under President Bola Tinubu. Fayose countered that this comparison ignored income differences, noting Nigeria's minimum wage is 70,000 Naira while UK workers earn around £13-£15 per hour, roughly £2,000 monthly (about N4 million), with access to free healthcare and good infrastructure, enabling UK workers to afford much more fuel.
