Minister Pule mum on SRD grant increase amid court ruling appeal

Social Development Minister Dina Pule remained tight-lipped on the court order regarding the increase of the R370 Social Relief of Distress grant. The government is appealing the Gauteng High Court judgement which ordered the removal of administrative barriers that limit millions of beneficiaries to access the grant. The SRD grant is currently set at R370. The government is appealing the court's decision.
