Minister: Rwanda ‘not ready’ to extradite Burundian coup plot suspects

Rwanda is refusing to extradite Burundians accused of plotting a coup in 2015, stating that negotiations with Burundi collapsed three years ago. Rwandan Foreign Affairs Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe mentioned that the country is not ready to release them without negotiations and that certain conditions must be met, as they are protected by international laws.
