Ministry of Health Confirms All 122 Ebola Contacts Traced

Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale confirmed that all 122 contacts linked to Kenya’s first imported Ebola case have been identified and verified. Of these, 108 (88.5%) are in quarantine and under daily monitoring, with no symptoms reported so far. The case involved a Kenyan who traveled from the DRC through Uganda and died on October 5. The government has increased efforts to contain the disease, including testing, traveler screening, and providing isolation beds in hospitals.
