MOAB: Iran brandishes the “father of all missiles” after U.S. revelations

On October 18, Mohammad Reza Naqdi, senior adviser to the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, said at a rally in Sari that Iran had prepared the “father of all missiles.” He warned that any miscalculation by Iran’s adversaries could lead to strikes against their infrastructure and energy investments in the region. His remarks followed reports of U.S. military plans that could involve using the MOAB bomb against Iranian facilities. Naqdi said Iran’s ballistic capabilities and the determination of its people would enable it to respond to an attack.
