At least 51 ships are set to dock at the Mombasa and Lamu Ports in the next 14 days, carrying goods such as fuel products, containers, fertilizers, wheat, rice, vehicles, and steel coils. The Port of Mombasa is expected to receive 42 vessels, while Lamu Port will welcome nine. The ports are undergoing major upgrades to become key trade and transport hubs in East and Central Africa.
