Month of 'Consume Local': Alimatou Assouman Kicks Off the 7th Edition – La Nouvelle Tribune

Alimatou Shadiya Assouman launched the 7th edition of the 'Consume Local' Month at Afrikan Ceramics Solutions (ACS) in Glo-Djigbé, highlighting local production of tiles made from Beninese clay, kaolin, and granite, with a capacity of 10,000 m² daily. The minister emphasized the importance of consuming locally made products to valorize national resources and create value, focusing on the local transformation chain. The campaign aims to promote 'Made in Benin' beyond food products by linking natural resources to local industry. The tile production, supported by a mining agreement, is expected to generate jobs and boost the local economy.
