MONUSCO hands over 4 former hostages of the CRP militia to Bunia authorities

On April 11, MONUSCO peacekeepers handed over four former hostages to the authorities in Bunia. The hostages, a police officer, a woman, her child, and a young man, were abducted by the CRP militia and escaped during military operations. They reported mistreatment during their captivity and recognized community members among their captors.
