More than 100 arrested as New Yorkers protest Netanyahu’s UN visit

More than 100 people were arrested in New York during protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the UN General Assembly, where demonstrators demanded accountability for the Gaza war and US military support for Israel. Over 400 individuals, including celebrities and politicians, participated in a sit-in blocking part of First Avenue outside the UN, led by Jewish Voice for Peace and NYC-Democratic Socialists of America.
