More VDMs will emerge if judiciary is not fixed — Farotimi

Human rights lawyer Dele Farotimi stated that the growing influence of social media activist Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), reflects the failure of Nigeria's judicial system. He argued that VDM's emergence as an alternative voice for justice is a result of the weaknesses within the justice system, warning that if institutions do not address public dissatisfaction, more similar figures could arise. Farotimi also criticized the notion that the judiciary is the last hope of the common man in Nigeria.
