Moroccan Legislative Elections: PAM Leads, 38% Voter Turnout, Lowest Since 2007

Provisional results of the Moroccan legislative elections on September 23, 2026, show that the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) leads with 97 seats out of 395, ahead of the RNI with 66 seats and Istiqlal with 65. Voter turnout was only 38.02%, the lowest since 2007, compared to 50.35% in 2021. The RNI, which led the outgoing coalition, lost 36 seats, dropping from 102 to 66, while PJD increased from 13 to 54 seats. The formation of the government will depend on political alliances.
