Morocco: 500 million dollars from the World Bank to transform the labor market

The World Bank has approved a funding of 500 million dollars to support Morocco's national employment roadmap, aiming to reach 330,000 job seekers by 2029. The program focuses on strengthening labor market policies, improving the business climate for SMEs, and supporting investments in green sectors. Specific measures will be implemented to enhance women's participation, including the creation of 40,000 childcare places. Ahmadou Moustapha Ndiaye emphasized that these reforms aim to overcome obstacles to job creation in the country.
