Morocco: Two major absences from Mohamed Ouahbi’s next squad?

Azzedine Ounahi is already ruled out of Morocco’s upcoming matches against Niger, and Soufiane Rahimi could also miss the squad’s next gathering. The 30-year-old Al Ain striker left a UAE President’s Cup match injured after 30 minutes, complaining of discomfort in his hamstrings. Tests are pending, but he could be sidelined for at least three weeks, making him highly doubtful for the November 13 and 17 matches, which count toward qualification for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. Rahimi scored against Gabon and assisted a goal against Lesotho in the first two qualifying rounds.
