Morocco's parliamentary elections reshaped the political landscape amid a lower voter turnout of 38.08%, down from 50.86% in 2021. The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) emerged as the largest party with 97 seats, up from 87, while the National Rally of Independents (RNI) dropped from 102 to 66 seats. The Istiqlal Party decreased from 81 to 65 seats, and the Justice and Development Party (PJD) made a significant comeback, rising from 13 to 54 seats. Social and political protests over employment, healthcare, education, and living costs have been prominent in recent years.
