Morocco’s pro-Palestine protests challenge Rabat’s deepening Israel ties

Pro-Palestine protests have spread across several Moroccan cities, demanding an end to diplomatic normalization with Israel as Rabat deepens ties with Tel Aviv. The latest demonstration took place on September 27, after three days of actions organized by the Moroccan Front for Supporting Palestine and Against Normalization. Gatherings occurred in cities including Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier, Fès, Agadir, Oujda, Tétouan, Kénitra, and Salé, with some cities imposing restrictions and making arrests, particularly in Tangier and Agadir.
