Morocco’s Tourism Revenue Hits MAD 31 Billion in Q1 2026, Up 24%

Morocco's travel receipts in foreign currency reached MAD 31 billion ($3.1 billion) in the first quarter of 2026, marking a 24% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The country welcomed 4.3 million tourists between January and March, representing a 7% year-on-year rise. Tourism Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor highlighted the growing economic impact of the sector on local ecosystems.
