MPs Question Kindiki’s Ksh8 Million Daily Chopper Spending

The Office of Deputy President Kithure Kindiki is under scrutiny for substantial helicopter hiring expenses, with lawmakers raising concerns on April 9. The Public Accounts Committee has initiated an inquiry into pending bills totaling Ksh478 million, of which about Ksh150 million was spent on helicopter services. Lawmakers questioned the justification for spending up to Ksh8 million in a single day for trips to destinations such as Tharaka Nithi and Laikipia.
