Violent clashes continue between FARDC-Wazalendo and AFC/M23 in Masisi

Violent clashes between AFC/M23 and government forces, supported by Wazalendo armed groups, continue in Masisi, North Kivu. Fighting is reported along the Ngungu axis and in the Katoyi sector, where Wazalendo are attempting to regain control of Mitimingi. Last week, Congolese army and Wazalendo forces reclaimed several villages, but the situation remains unstable and affects local civilians.
