Multiple vehicle road crash in South Africa kills 21

A road accident on the N1 highway in the Western Cape province has resulted in at least 21 fatalities, involving two Toyota minibus taxis and a Suzuki SUV. Eighteen people were declared dead at the scene, while three others died after being taken to the hospital. Four additional individuals were seriously injured. The accident occurred 380 km east of Cape Town, between the towns of Prince Albert and Leeu-Gamka.
