Muna: 'Cameroon has ignored the MAEP since 2004'

Akere Muna stated that Cameroon has not considered the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) since 2004, which harms governance and transparency in the country. He emphasized the importance of this mechanism for improving governance practices and called for a reassessment of its use. Muna also stressed the need for political commitment to strengthen democratic institutions in Cameroon.
