Musk rants at French prosecutors probing his X platform

Elon Musk has launched a tirade against French judicial authorities investigating possible abuses on his social network X, formerly known as Twitter. France opened an inquiry in January 2025 into allegations of interference in French politics, which has since widened to include accusations of Holocaust denial and distribution of images of sexual abuse. Musk recently labeled French magistrates as 'mentally retarded' following a raid on X's Paris office.
