My mission is to demonstrate power; I don’t collect tithes – Odumeje

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, known as Odumeje and head of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, says his ministry does not collect tithes. Appearing on the Honest Bunch Podcast, he said his primary mission is to demonstrate spiritual power and criticized churches that he believes prioritize collecting money over performing miracles. He said tithing is not wrong, but paying it should be a personal decision between an individual and God. He also condemned teachings that threaten Christians with exclusion from heaven if they do not pay tithes.
