My mother lived a quality life till the end — Okonjo-Iweala

World Trade Organization Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala thanked friends and followers for their condolences after the death of her mother, Professor Kamene Okonjo. She said her mother had lived a quality life until the end and that her family was grateful to have had her for so long. Kamene Okonjo, matriarch of the Umu Obi Obahai Royal Family of the Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom in Delta State, died at the age of 96. Her death was announced on Sunday by palace secretary Chief Ifeakanachukwu Emordi on behalf of the royal family.
