Mzoli’s returns to Cape Town with new venue in Gardens

Mzoli's, a Cape Town icon, is reopening with a new restaurant, Mzoli Meat and Grill, in the Gardens area. Founded by Edwin Ngcawuzele, the venue closed in 2021 due to Covid-19 restrictions. Following Ngcawuzele's death in June 2026, his family is committed to reviving his legacy, aiming to expand Mzoli's audience across Africa. The new restaurant is set to open its doors this weekend.
