N1.5m ransom recovered as police, Amotekun foil kidnappers in Ondo forest shootout

Police in Ondo State rescued two abducted victims and arrested three suspects during an operation in Isua-Akoko forest. The security forces recovered N1.5 million, believed to be intended for ransom payment, after a shootout with the kidnappers. The suspects, identified as Abdullahi Abubakar, Ibrahim Abubakar, and Oseni Abubakar, were apprehended while attempting to flee after the attack.
