Israel election: When will a government be formed, and who will lead it?

After the October 27 legislative election, Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition lost its majority, while the Jewish parties opposing him also fell short of the 61 seats needed in the Knesset. The pro-Netanyahu bloc won 53 seats, opposition Jewish parties won 48 and Arab-led parties secured 19. Alake said the programme’s first two phases raised more than 1.2 trillion naira, while the Presidential Metering Initiative provided meters to over 1.5 million customers. He also defended moving tariffs towards cost-reflective levels and said protections were in place for low-income households.
