The National Border Commission of Côte d’Ivoire and its partners developed a roadmap at a workshop held on November 5 and 6, 2026, in Yamoussoukro. It is intended to guide implementation in border prefectures of the National Integrated Border Management Policy, adopted by the government on June 12, 2024. CNFCI Executive Secretary Dr. Diakalidia Konaté outlined four priorities: local ownership of the policy, coordination among public services, reliable information gathering and reporting, and local cross-border cooperation. The measures aim to prevent conflicts and anticipate risks in border areas.
