Nachtigal: 300 million FCFA to train youth for future jobs

On September 14, 2026, the Cameroonian government and Nachtigal Hydro Power Company (NHPC) signed an agreement to invest 300 million FCFA in training youth from the impact zone of the Nachtigal hydroelectric project. The funding will enhance the Ntri training center, where young people can receive training in priority areas such as automotive mechanics, woodworking, and the clothing industry. This investment aims to strengthen local skills and promote the professional integration of youth.
