NAF transports electoral materials for Ekiti poll, by-elections across Nigeria

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) airlifted sensitive electoral materials for the 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election and several senatorial and federal constituency by-elections scheduled for June 20, 2026. The operation, conducted between June 15 and 16, 2026 at the request of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), ensured the secure and timely movement of materials from Abuja to designated airports in Enugu, Rivers, and Kano states. The elections include the Ekiti governorship poll, senatorial by-elections in Enugu North, Nasarawa North, and Rivers South East districts, and federal constituency by-elections in Dawakin Kudu/Warawa (Kano) and Zuru/Shanga (Kebbi).
