Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) announced a 24-hour water supply interruption affecting over 40 neighborhoods due to emergency repairs on the NCT-Kigoro-Gigiri-Kabete pipeline by the Athi Water Works Development Authority (AWWDA). The shutdown is expected to start as early as Tuesday and will impact areas including Riverside, Lavington, Kileleshwa, Kilimani, Ngara, Parklands, Kibera, and surrounding estates. Residents are advised to make arrangements during the disruption. The affected zones also include parts of Wilson Airport, UNEP, the US Embassy, the International School, and several main roads.
