Nalaraba drops governorship ambition, eyes Senate seat

Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba, a member of the House of Representatives, has withdrawn from the Nasarawa State governorship race ahead of the 2027 general elections and declared his intention to contest for the Senate seat representing Nasarawa South. This decision followed consultations with party leaders and constituents. Nalaraba also expressed his support for the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, and pledged to mobilize his supporters to ensure the success of the party's candidate in the elections.
