NANS raises alarm over repeated civilian deaths in air operations

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) condemned a recent airstrike by the Nigerian Air Force that hit Jilli Market along the Borno-Yobe border, resulting in numerous civilian deaths. NANS reported that as many as 200 people may have been killed during this operation conducted under Operation Hadin Kai, which targets insurgent groups. The association called for an independent investigation into the incident and measures to protect civilian lives during military operations.
