NAPTIP secures conviction of 2 guards over abuse of 6 year old girl

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) secured the life imprisonment conviction of two security guards, James Sule and Adamu Yau, for repeatedly raping a young girl over six years in Abuja. The abuse began in 2016 when the victim's grandmother asked Sule to repair a toilet. The victim eventually disclosed the abuse to a pastor in 2022, leading to the suspects' arrest and their trial in February 2023.
