National Assembly: Ousmane Sonko approves lists with two major changes

Lawmakers unanimously approved the membership lists for the National Assembly’s 14 permanent committees for the 2026–2027 session. Most committee leadership teams were retained, but Alphonse Mané Sambou replaces Chérif Ahmed Dicko as chair of the Finance Committee. Abdou Mbow takes over as chair of the Economic Affairs Committee from Abdou Karim Sall, while the leadership of the other 12 committees remains unchanged.
