National Day of Solidarity: Mariam Fadiga Fofana Honored for 10 Years of Solidarity Commitment

On September 22, 2026, at the Palais de la Culture in Treichville, Mariam Fadiga Fofana, chair of the African Women Initiatives (AWI), was promoted to Officer in the Order of Merit of Solidarity for her ten years of community service. The event honored 48 individuals, including Commanders, Officers, and Knights, on behalf of the President. Minister Myss Belmonde Dogo called for a collective national commitment to solidarity, and former footballer Didier Drogba expressed gratitude to the President.
