National Dialogue and the Challenges of Preserving the Territorial Integrity of the DRC

On June 26, 2025, President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi met in contact with religious leaders to discuss the intercongolese dialogue. The International Day of Peace on September 21, 2026, saw the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres call for increased efforts towards peace, emphasizing security, dignity, and cooperation. The main topics discussed included the preservation of the DRC's territorial integrity, armed groups and state resistance, and the DRC's stance on the US proposal to eliminate the ICC.
