National Dialogue: 'The army cannot recover the lands. If you do not involve those who are waging war, you balkanize the country' (Martin Fayulu)

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, Martin Fayulu, president of the ECiDé party, advocated for an inclusive national dialogue during the National Justice and Peace Day. He emphasized that excluding armed actors could lead to the balkanization of the country. Fayulu also noted that the Congolese army has failed to recover territories controlled by the AFC/M23, making it necessary to include all stakeholders in the dialogue.
