National Police Week: Delta command gives ₦16.7m cheques to families of fallen officers

During the National Police Week 2026, the Delta State Police Command presented cheques totaling over ₦16 million to the families of 13 deceased officers who died in the line of duty. The ceremony in Asaba was described by Commissioner of Police Yemi Oyeniyi as "solemn and significant." Beneficiary representative Ahanuwa Raphael expressed gratitude for the support, which will assist their families.
