Navy uncovers 119,850 litres of suspected stolen crude oil

The Nigerian Navy uncovered 119,850 litres of suspected stolen crude oil at an illegal refining site in Ogbogolo Community, Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State. The operation on September 17, 2026, also recovered 350 litres of suspected illegally refined Automotive Gas Oil and 25 parcels of suspected Cannabis sativa. No arrests were made as the suspects fled upon the arrival of naval personnel.
