NCC empowers over 100 persons with disabilities, digital skills in Lagos

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) trained over 100 Persons with Disabilities in Lagos on digital citizenship, cybersecurity, and assistive technologies during a two-day training on September 9 and 10, 2026. Participants learned to protect their personal data and use accessibility tools while becoming aware of the social realities and discrimination they face. Dr. Aminu Maida, EVC/CEO of NCC, emphasized the importance of digital inclusion beyond just internet connectivity.
