NCC leader Fadiel Adams makes election-day U-turn after forgetting ID in his wife’s car

National Coloured Congress (NCC) leader Fadiel Adams had to retrieve his identity document from his wife’s car before voting in Mitchells Plain on Wednesday, November 4. He later confirmed that he had voted and described the mood on the ground as positive, saying he was looking forward to the local election results. Earlier in the week, Adams defended the NCC’s record and urged voters to judge the party by its results amid questions about his criminal case and appearances before the Madlanga Commission and a parliamentary ad hoc committee.
