NDLEA arrests South African woman for heroin trafficking

The NDLEA arrested 38-year-old South African woman Will Jessica Ann at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, for attempting to smuggle 5.75 kg of heroin into Nigeria using her three-year-old son as cover. She traveled from Cambodia via Doha and is part of a transnational drug syndicate with her husband. Separately, a Nigerian commercial motorcyclist was arrested in Lagos with 1.715 kg of methamphetamine.
