NDLEA Arrests Ugandan Woman with 87 Cocaine Wraps at Lagos Airport

The NDLEA arrested 34-year-old Ugandan Farida Nansubuga at Lagos’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport as she was preparing to board a flight to Uganda. Officers found 87 cocaine wraps weighing 1.15 kilograms concealed beneath her clothing; she reportedly said she was to deliver them for a friend in return for at least $1,000. In other airport operations, the agency seized 750,000 tapentadol tablets shipped from India and 16.15 kilograms of Loud cannabis concealed in two sofas from Houston. A freight agent and a caterer from Ibadan were arrested in connection with the cannabis consignment.
