The Managing Director and CEO of Niger Delta Power Holding Company, Engr. Jennifer Adighije, announced that the company is ready to supply an additional 1,500 MW of electricity to Lagos. Currently, Lagos receives about 1,000 MW from the national grid, while the demand is nearly 12,000 MW, resulting in a significant shortfall. NDPHC has an installed generation capacity of about 4,000 MW, but only 400 to 500 MW are dispatched daily due to operational constraints.
