Nepal and China resume flood rescue as death toll nears 600

The death toll has reached at least 579 in Nepal, with 1,924 people missing, while Tibet reports at least five deaths and 558 missing. A glacier collapsed, causing a rapid rise in the Trishuli River and the formation of an unstable new lake, leading to heightened safety measures.
