Nepal-China flood disaster: What’s the latest toll, how many are missing?

The death toll from devastating floods near the Nepal-China border has risen to at least 734, with over 900 workers missing from hydropower project sites. Authorities from Nepal and China estimate that more than 3,000 people are unaccounted for, with some bodies washing up in India. A glacier collapse in the Himalayas triggered the catastrophic flooding, burying villages along the Trishuli and Bhotekoshi rivers.
