Nepal rescuers drill into tunnels in bid to reach trapped workers

Nepali rescuers are trying to reach hydropower workers believed trapped in tunnels flooded with debris. The Nepali government estimates that over 100 workers may still be alive inside multiple tunnels, particularly at the Trishuli 3A and 3B sites. Rescue efforts have been hampered by rain and rising waters, but teams have resumed work to locate the tunnel entrance.
