Nepal search operations continue a week after catastrophic floods

A week after devastating flash floods in the Himalayas, over 1,100 people have been killed in Nepal, with nearly 4,000 missing. Search and rescue operations continue, with specialized equipment being flown in to assist in locating about 600 workers trapped in tunnels beneath hydropower stations. Forensic experts from China and Singapore are also expected to help with the management and identification of the deceased.
