Netanyahu sues Haaretz after revelations about October 7

Benjamin Netanyahu has filed a defamation lawsuit against the Israeli newspaper Haaretz and journalist Shlomi Eldar over allegations that he was warned of a Hamas attack prior to October 7, 2023, without informing his security chiefs. This attack resulted in approximately 1,200 deaths in Israel and led to regional escalation. Netanyahu disputes claims that he received a call from UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed alerting him about a Hamas operation.
